Premise
Using some recycled materials to make a simple and elegant fabric bracelet. It is designed with a black adjustable strap to match all sizes of wrist. Also this bracelet would go well with all types of clothing and all occasions.
YOU WILL NEED
A. 1-inch x 5.2-inch (2.5 x 13cm) White lace x 1
B. 1-inch (2.5cm) Diameter Yellow button x 1
C. 1-inch (2.5 cm) Diameter of round black felt x 1
D. 1-inch (2.5cm) White accessary rose x 1
E. 2.5-inch x 7.2-inch (6 x 19cm) Denim x 1 (According to the length of your wrist)
F. 0.6-inch x 9.2-inch (1.6 x 23.5cm) Black strap x 2
G. 0.5-inch (0.8cm) Long shape bead x 2
Practice
Making the center the attractive part
Firstly, take the white lace, then prepare and cut the material to size 13 cm. Stitch it both ends together and make a outward hem.
Stitch what you created with the white lace center together then sandwich it in between yellow button “B” and round black felt “C”, taking note of the hem faces down black felt “C”.
Stitch white rose “D” onto what you have just created from last step center. About the size and yellow button variety, please see the tips after Payoff section.
Making the belt and strap
Measure the size of your wrist and cut the material Denim striped “E” to the right size. From inside to fold it in half on the short edge.
Sew up the length of the side then turn inside out.
Tuck both ends of the tube inside the tube at a length of 0.5-inch (1.5 cm).
Flatten the tube with the seam running down the center with a stick.
Insert the black straps “F” into both ends of the tube, then pin to secure. Sew the entire edge of the flattened tube to make a rectangle. You can use different stitching patterns on the long edge. Also prepare the strap to the right length.
Put it all together
Stitch what was created with the flower in step 3 onto the center of the rectangle belt. Make sure it is the outward facing side. Then get the long shape beads “G” to stitch on each side of the flower.
Stitch both ends of black strap “F” with black color thread, to make hems on the ends.
